The founding of our school was a highly symbolic moment, since this very building, located in the courtyard of a synagogue, was home to a Jewish school, functional from 1922 until its closure in 1941.
The opening of the Lauder Beth-Zion Elementary School brought this history back to life, as childrens' voices now echo through these halls once again. Since the opening, the first floor of the building has been converted into a state-of-the-art elementary school, featuring classrooms, a dining room, an auditorium and a reading and rest area.
