The Midrasha is located on  Kastanienallee in the heart of Prenzlauer Berg, the most happening district in Berlin. The neighbourhood is not only the cultural and cafe headquarters of the city, but also the home of a young and dynamic Jewish community, with a kosher cafe and shops just minutes away.
The building is a modern, state-of-the-art complex, opened in the autumn of 2008, and offers dormitories, dining space, conference facilities, a lounge and a synagogue, all on one site.
